Master Y.C. Wong was born in 1929. He started Kung fu at the age of 6 with his father and uncle, students of Lam Sai Wing, with whom he also learned. He immigrated in the 1950s to Hong Kong where he became a student and then assistant instructor of Lam Jo. Then he immigrated to the United States where he opened the first school for non-Chinese in 1965. He practices Kung Fu Hung Gar Pekkwar, Pakua Kao, Tai chi chuan Kuangping Yang and Chi Kong.
